Remodeling Boston

We brought in Peter and his team to update our nursery and bathroom as we prepare for a little one. We were extremely impressed by the quality of the work and the effort they took to care for the rest of the house. They put down temporary flooring throughout the house to protect the floors, used a large ventilation fan and vacuums to control dust, and cleaned up the whole path from the door to their working area every day before they left. Very professional and appreciated. The quality of the work was excellent as well. My husband provided Peter rough drawings of our vision for the two projects and Peter and his foreman worked with us to refine them into a beautiful outcome. They helped address any issues that came up and added high quality finishing touches we would not have though of (such as running the bath tile all the way to the floor in front of the tub, see pics). Their tile work is especially excellent. They also built a custom bed frame for the nursery and even used mahogany for it without us asking and at no additional charge. Communications were done by email or in person, although we would have appreciated more regular updates on the daily schedule and work tasks. Overall a five star experience based in quality, cost, and experience. If our new little one tears the walls out, I would definitely have Peter and his team back.

Peter and his team came in and refinished our basement which was absurdly outdated. He was patient in listening to what we were envisioning, working with drawings which I created, and suggesting finishings and features only a seasoned contractor would have thought of. Living in the final product I can't believe we put up with the old version for so many years and wish we had hired Peter sooner. His team was polite, professional, and quickly came up with solutions for all the little problems that arise with any project. Peter managed subcontractors, and when one of them did subpar work he had his team come and redo the work at no charge and no complaint. We were especially pleased with his team's tile work, painting, and built-in bookshelf construction. Peter was generally responsive by email, and always responsive by phone. I've hired them again since then for other projects and wouldn't hesitate to bring them back.

Peter just finished a sun room at our house in Cambridge. He and his crew did an excellent job. He remained on schedule and on budget. His crew was thoughtful and did not mind working around our two cats and Boston terrier. I would have Peter work for us in the future. The quality of his workmanship is superior. Helen
