I took my laptop in for screen repair think the that my screen was cracked. They called me saying that it was just a back light damaged and repaired something on the motherboard. I return to pick up the laptop and the line is still going down the screen and the laptop now is shacking so bad you can’t even work on it. I was in this store over an hour and then the front desk agent of the store noticed that my battery was not charging and giving errors, they damaged the laptop and I do not know what they did to damage my battery on my laptop, but they had my laptop from June 8, 2025 until July 26, 2025 while in their care my battery was damaged I don’t know if they swapped it out or damaged it by not doing something correctly during what happened while my laptop was in their care. OMG! I had no idea that a swollen cell phone battery is a serious risk! We tried fixing splitting cell phone with special tape to hold it together. That didn't work at all so we brought it into U Break. The tech explained that it was because of an old swollen battery. We ordered original and he replaced fairly quickly. No changes to screen icons or any function at all. I'm so delighted at having a safe phone again and not having to buy a newer phone that I don't want or need. Thank you U Break techs!
