Sunday afternoon celebrating Bessy's birthday at Restaurant Botanic was an incredible adventure! We had the pleasure bravely experiencing the unexpected culinary journey we never had before. We were truly impressed by their masterful use of Australian native ingredients like crocodile fat, emu egg, and marron claw, creating a delightful array of savoury and sweet surprises. A standout highlight was the garden-foraged tea, sourced right from their backyard! We loved blending our own custom mixes and having them served in exquisite teaware.‌ Huge compliments to the chefs for their talent and experimental spirit, and a big thank you to the staff for making us feel so welcomed with their attentive service. A truly unique and memorable high tea!

We spent Sunday at Restaurant Botanic enjoying wine, service and most the dishes. Honestly, I couldn’t fault the venue - it is operated like a machine with super engaging and informed staff. The dishes were wide ranging in taste and texture but all consistent on bite sized morsels. There were a few where the botanic or vinegar or sour taste was too much. Overall, it was a nice, one off experience in Adelaide

I had an unforgettable dining experience at the Botanic restaurant in Adelaide on March 8th. Nestled within the beautiful Adelaide Botanic Gardens, the ambiance was serene and beautifully complemented by the lush surroundings. I opted for the "Feed Me" menu, which offered an exquisite selection of dishes that showcased the chef's creativity and attention to detail. One of the standout dishes was the kangaroo, which was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Each course was a delightful surprise, bursting with fresh flavors and thoughtfully paired ingredients. The presentation was impeccable, turning each plate into a work of art. Our server, Harris, was exceptional. His attentiveness and knowledge greatly enhanced our dining experience, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring that we were well taken care of throughout the meal. The Botanic restaurant truly exceeds expectations with its innovative cuisine and stunning setting. I give it a solid 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a remarkable dining adventure in Adelaide.

This restaurant's ability to source and incorporate unique flavours into its creations is reminiscent of the way a painter uses their colour palette to create their artwork. In this restaurant the artworks are culinary, using form, colour, texture, presentation as well as flavour and story to take the participant on a culinary and geographic journey through local regional and Australian sources.
