Actually 0/5 Stars – Worst Experience Ever. Avoid at All Costs. I hired this company expecting a professional paint job for our home — what we got was an absolute disaster. They promised quality work and attention to detail, but from day one, it was clear that wasn’t going to happen. The painters switched out the quality paint highlighted in their proposal and instead used a cheap all-in-one primer. They did not at all prep the existing woodwork, but painted directly over high gloss woodwork, and now the paint is chipping and peeling in multiple places. It looks worse than before we hired them. Corners were cut everywhere, and the lack of prep work shows in every room. They were supposed to paint all existing painted woodwork but did not paint the woodwork in the kitchen at all. Not only did they botch the paint job, they also placed heavy equipment on top of our mahogany dining room table and permanently damaged it with circular gouges. We have video of them trying to repair the table. To make things even worse, after delivering this mess of a job, they had the audacity to demand an additional $3,000. For what? A botched paint job that needs to be redone entirely? They have put a lien on our property for not giving in to their blackmail tactics. Unprofessional, untrustworthy, and absolutely not worth a single cent. Save yourself the headache and find someone who actually knows what they’re doing — and who won’t try to extort you for 30% more than your written contract.

This company and its owners are a scam. They do well below sub-standard work then over charge you. They did what was maybe 3k in work and tried to charge me $8100. We kicked them out of our home because of the workmanship and constant delays. Used non moisture resistant Sheetrock on two bathroom ceilings even though we discussed using the appropriate form at the beginning. Shimmed doors to work by using pieces of cardboard (one of the owners did that right in front of me). Miscut (more likely didn’t know how to do it) flooring around doors so they pieced in little pieces. They used our cleaning supplies and filled our garbage can w debris twice and was unable to put our own trash in for two weeks. Wouldn’t show up when they said they would constantly. Owners bark orders at employees who walk around frightened of them. They put a sign in my yard for marketing with out permission. STAY AWAY. FAR AWAY.

I recently hired Richards Painting of New Orleans to paint the walls, ceiling, and floors in my dining room and two bedrooms and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, the team was professional and hardworking. They provided an accurate quote up front and finished the job on schedule. The transformation is stunning, especially the floors! They carefully removed the old paint, smoothened the floor and polished everything to a sleek finish. The walls, which had some bumps before, are now smooth and look top-class. What really impressed me was their attention to detail and willingness to guide me through the color selection process. Their advice helped bring the space together beautifully. The owners were kind, patient, and truly cared about my satisfaction. I felt supported throughout the project. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and a team that genuinely takes pride in their work.
