We stopped for a late breakfast on a Wednesday around 10:30. There were only a few diners. Reception was fast and friendly, with only one staff on. Initial ordering was quick. We had a two egg with hasbrowns and toast plate, an order of brioche French toast with strawberries, and a Belgium waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. Drinks were two coffees and a cranberry juice. The food was all good. FYI the hashbrowns were rehydrated shreds, then fried. and the strawberries were a bit sparse - OK but not outstanding. Service suffered a tad due to a spate of take out orders, with only the one staff who nevertheless was cheerful and did her best. Overall we had a good meal. Price $65 with tip. We can recommend this Ricky's for a good breakfast.

We had supper here as it was conveniently located in the hotel we stayed at. The food was good. My son liked his chicken strips & fries and I enjoyed my “little old lady half order” of liver & onions. Our server Amy was lovely!!!!! She was attentive, so sweet with my son and on the ball. Only downside I could say was the atmosphere… when we came to the front entrance there were some heat lamps lying on the floor and it looked a little dishevelled. What it didn’t have in looks it made up for with our amazing server!

Our group of 34 had an amazing dining experience at Ricky’s All Day Grill in Hinton. Most of us are vegetarian and they were able to modify all our entrees. The food was fresh and delicious. Everyone of us including kids left full and happy. What truly stood out was the outstanding customer service. The staff was very friendly, efficient. They handled our large group with joy and ease. Highly recommend Ricky’s to anyone looking for great food and even better service. We’ll definitely be back!

Ricky's atmosphere is enjoyable and clean, the service was decent and the staff were friendly. The food is a story of two tails. We had 2 kids grilled cheese meals both came with fries and ice cream for dessert. The grilled cheese sadly was barely grilled as the butter or margarine was melted but not even caramelized, combine that with a cheese slice and you get a pretty poor grilled cheese. The chicken Tenders from the "mains" section of the menu were very tender and beautifully cooked but coating was bland. I added a touch of salt and it made all the difference, the Sriracha ranch dip was very bland with heat. The fish & shrimp platter was good fish was crisp except the portion of the bottom piece of fish where the two pieces overlapped which is merely coincidence and not a result of preparation. The turkey dinner was good, the mashed potatoes stood out as a highlight they were both smooth and seasoned perfectly. All in all not a bad meal even considering the kids meal issues. The staff did rectify the kids meal issues on the bill.
