Can't say enough good things about the food and service here! Have been many many times and have never left hungry! Easily the best breakfast in town! Not many places left like this... ...oh and they having amazing pie!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ River City Grill in Missoula has some positives, but overall my experience was mixed. On the food side, the tomato soup was flavorful and comforting, and the pot roast was tender and well-cooked — both dishes were enjoyable and showed the kitchen has talent. Unfortunately, the service brought the whole experience down. Our waitress seemed disengaged and was wearing a MASK, which made it difficult to hear her and created a barrier to any kind of genuine connection. In the service industry, hospitality matters as much as the food — being able to see a smile and feel welcomed is part of what makes dining out special. Instead, the interaction felt cold and even a little insulting, as though customers didn’t deserve that personal touch. The food shows promise, but until the service improves, this place is just average. With more attentive and personable staff, it could easily become a standout restaurant in town.

Went for breakfast this morning. As a trucker for almost 8years I’ve been all over the country and there are a lot of good places to eat but here in Missoula I must say this is the best place that I have been to in a very long time. Omelette and hash browns were perfectly made from the portions all the way to presentation it was everything I hoped it would be. And the biscuits and gravy were amazing as well. The biscuit was light and fluffy not hard and crumbly like most places. The atmosphere was so comforting and relaxed. the staff were warm and welcoming. So good I made it a must to come back for dinner. This will be my go to and must have every time I pass through Missoula. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Really good food and portions. You have to try the tomatoe soup! Probably the best I've ever had in my 42 years! The bread pudding was delicious as well.
