Roca Homes

Writing this review as someone who lives a few doors down from where Roca was building a low rise apartment building. In my experience, they don't show respect to the communities where they are building. In the year they were working here, workers with their trucks and machines would constantly be in our driveway (often blocking vehicles in) without permission or compensation for access. They left garbage everywhere and one of their trucks damaged our car mirror and didn't tell us (we found the piece in the driveway next to our car after they left one day). It's been months since they finished and they still haven't responded to multiple requests to reimburse us for our car's damage, as well as to clean up the garbage they left behind.

Terrible builders. Slow, disorganized, disruptive, poor quality sub trades. Zero respect for the community, environment, neighborhood, and residents. Unsafe workers. Avoid at all costs.

My husband and I have been looking for a home to purchase for the past two years. During this process, we reached out to Roca Homes (Roberto) about the potential to have a semi-detached home built in one of our preferred neighbourhoods. Roberto was responsive, always got back to me, and clearly does amazing work. I had actually been in touch with a few builders, many of whom either never wrote me back or wrote me back originally and then stopped writing. Roca homes always gave us quality customer service. In the end, we ended up finding a semi that was already built and met our needs so we did not use Roca Homes. That said, I imagine we'll use them one day for our final custom home :) Highly recommended!
