My wife Lisa and I have worked with Victoria on 5 renovations. We moved into an original condition apartment on the Upper West Side 23 years ago. My wife and I hired Victoria to renovate our Kitchen and it still looks good now. As our family expanded we hired Victoria again to convert a walk in closet into a nursery. A few years later we bought our neighbor’s apartment and hired Victoria to combine the apartments. She had to take out the second Kitchen and create a walk in shower. She had to make the combination look like it always existed. She had to deal with the building code and the coop board in a prewar apartment to update the electrical and plumbing. The work was both beautiful and functional. Victoria managed the contractors, the permits and supervised the process to completion. The work was published in a magazine. A few years later I bought a small coop across the street from my apartment to use as an office. This was a first floor apartment that required a gut renovation and a change of the certificate of occupancy to allow for my use as an office. We had less of a budget even though this was a gut renovation. The result was a stunning space that was an office, guest bedrooms and recreational space for my family. This was a very complicated job with a small budget and Victoria managed everything perfectly. We most recently hired Victoria and Michelle to supervise repairs. We replaced the bottom cabinets in the kitchen and it looks like a new Kitchen. They updated the bathrooms and they gave Lisa the best walk in closet on the Upper West Side (in my opinion). Victoria and Michelle have expertise with planning, all building systems and managing contractors, expeditors and the Department of Buildings. Victoria and Michelle are practical and knowledgeable. EXD Architecture did an amazing job with the design and fulfillment of my new office. With COVID, the last thing I wanted to do was go back to a large office setting. So, I worked with EXD to create an environment that I could work in, use as a home gym and also use as a place for guests to stay near my home. EXD chose impeccable and affordable furniture, rugs, lighting and recommended pieces that fit my style and taste. The fees were very reasonable as well. I would definitely use EXD again.
