At the end of November we took a huge step for us, 1. Buying a campervan and 2. Buying from an independent garage 4 hours away from home. Having seen the VW California on Auto Trader and the Rodden Road website, my husband made a couple of phone calls to discuss the vehicle which looked to be in mint condition for its age. The guys at the garage were great and answered any questions that we had, gave a quote for our part ex and were really patient when we had a few issues arranging the trip down due to work and other commitments. We finally made it down in Storm Bert and couldn’t have had any better service. We were left to have a good look around the vehicle and were made to feel really welcome. We had to take a bit of a chance as we were unable to try some of the things in the van due to the weather-but we need not have worried-the van was as described and everything in working order. There were no issues with the part ex, no trying to sell extras-just the deal we agreed. Thank you Rodden Road for making it such a smooth transaction and being honest and reliable-never ever would I have thought we would have made our purchase from and independent garage so far away. If anybody is in doubt about travelling to this great small garage-don’t be! They are great! We ended up having a 12 hour day out due to the storm but I would do it again without a doubt.
Lovely staff, lovely cars bought an mx5 from here it is very tidy and was supplied with a clean MOT at a very good price. Would 100% recommend!
