Decent place, but the water in the sink in the restroom at the fuel bays smells horrible.... Don't use it, or you'll smell it all day long.... The shop does good work.... Lounge area is comfortable with plenty to watch..... Laundry has a bucket of soap that you can use, which is nice.... No bucket in Gary.... Only 2 Showers, and they remind me of some showers I used at camp when I was a child, or something from a"70's" horror movie.... They could definitely use a "remodel"..... Something more private with better locks, like what the Gary terminal has would be great.... Not much in the "food department".... But there is enough in the machines so you won't starve.... Unless the machines have been picked clean.... The you're S.O.L ...... 2 loner cars to use.... Many restaurants in town to satisfy your craving....

I was operating my car on WI 54 East Bound Lane and a Roehl Truck made a turn in front of me which required me to brake and slow down as the vehicle making the turn clearly had insufficent time to complete the turn into Kwik Trip in Wisconsin Rapids, Biron area of the city. Truck number was 3207 and Trailer was number 67605 the time of the incident was approximately 12:45 PM August 25,2025. Please review his or her camera to see the incident and how it was executed which clearly could have been a major accident has this driver had no regard for oncoming traffic and the time line necessary considering the size of the vehicle to complete the turn successfully.

Got my CDL here. The actual training is good, it was for me anyway. Flatbed fleet. My instructor that got me ready for my CDL test was great, over the road trainer was an awesome guy. Coordination is lacking in some areas outside of training. I sat at home for almost 3 weeks after passing the CDL test which doesn't sound bad but it destroyed my financial planning I had laid out because you don't get paid for that. Some people get to go right into otr training after the test but there is sometimes a shortage of trainers. I'm just conveying the message that you need to be ready for hiccups. You get paid for training but if you're like me you really don't need a three week break in income. I didn't know it would be like that until it happened or I would have found something to do for that time. Good training and experience but be prepared.
