ROOF EXPRESS

We hired Roof Express to replace our roof, after talking to two other companies, including a family referral. Roof Express was the most reasonable with the highest reviews, and best payment plan. Nav was our project manager and he had the best communications via text (very responsive). I'm a customer that does my research on things, ask a lot of questions, and likes to understand each step of the process. Nav's team, with Luis as his lead, worked fast, they were respectful and always cleaned up each day, was patient with my requests (eg painting). They even replaced our old chimney cap. Our inspection passed with flying colors. Overall we are very happy and really appreciated Nav's communications and would recommend them to anyone needing to get their roof done.

Roof Express replaced the roof on our building with a torch down roof - a 3 layer Modified Bitumen Roofing system. Since our building is a 2 unit condominium - 2 owners - we had an independent roof inspection done first to determine replacement or repair. We had no leaks but there were areas that looked pretty worn and the roof age was estimated to be 25 to 35 years old so we chose replacement. Got multiple estimates and went with Roof Express due to 1. Roof assessor (Habibi) was very credible as an active project manager with other projects going in SF (not just a sales guy) and easy to work with 2. Price 3. Reviews and ratings 4. 10 year warranty on workmanship. Glad we did as the new roof appears to be very solid and durable & meticulously applied, the crew was courteous and hardworking and were very thorough on cleaning up our property and our neighbors and the roof did not leak at all with the December rains. During the project, Abu, the owner came by and inspected the work which I liked a lot. A slight bump was the scheduling, they told us the work would start in a month and a week later they emailed to say they would begin in 5 days so we scrambled a bit to make it work. The building does have several skylights that they removed and resealed. Overall, I think they did great job and earned my 5 star recommendation.

We used Roof Express to replace the 25-year-old roof on our Belmont home. They removed the old roof and installed the new one (Certainteed Solaris Pro shingles) in a single day. The job was done beautifully, and they cleaned up thoroughly afterward. We had some rot in the wood on a section of the eaves, and they did a great job replacing the boards and matching the paint with the surrounding boards. They were courteous, professional, and very responsive to all our questions and preferences throughout. The project manager, Nav, and the owner, Abu, were a pleasure to work with. Their quoted price was excellent compared with the four other companies we interviewed, and they offered higher-quality materials. Really, it was an easy choice - the Roof Express quote was head-and-shoulders better than the competition's. And they delivered on all fronts. We are very happy with our experience with Roof-Express, and wholeheartedly recommend them for your roof projects.
