Solid Snake

Had my Mercedes tidied up here with some freshly painted bumpers. They did an outstanding job and were really friendly and professional throughout the whole process. Ben was a fantastic guy to deal with.

Arrogant, careless and irresponsable. I had 2 repairs done at this place. Both needed re-work before being acceptable. Paintwork not blended into adjacent panel was blamed on Aviva. Shockingly bad mastic on a new door was blamed on the supplier (even if this was true, they clearly should have rejected the part). Door causing wind noise on motorway was down to loose hinge bolts (annoying noise on a 3000 mile trip abroad and very dangerous if i hadn't spotted the problem). Each time SL Restoration were dismissive and arrogant in their response. Finally they refused to quote for a job, because they prefer easy to please / blind customers. Disappointed

I was refused an estimate for bodywork repair saying that we would not afford the cost of the repair , how arrogant and unprofessional.

These guys repaired my Boxster GTS, it was like a restoration, they returned it in PERFECT condition. Additionally I opted to have a ceramic coating applied due to me, then, keeping my car parked under a tree. They also did an amazing job with this too. I would recommend them any time as they are absolutely fantastic.
