Met Jan.16th with Sara regarding my case. I had briefed them on my situation and was told they would get all my background info and get me set up to take the case. The meeting lasted under 40 minutes and she read my paperwork while asking questions in a very Condensing tone. I discussed how this has been negatively impacting my entire family’s life due to the amt of money owed and very much wanted to get things moving. At which point she asked me if I considered just letting him have the money and dropping it. I was speechless as to her suggestion… not just once …several times . She then finished reading my document…made a few more statements and said she would not be able to take the case as she is more into deadbeat tenants and easy money cases. She then recommended another attorney and said that would be 600.00. I was speechless and she even had a guilty look on her face… So, nothing done other than derogatory comments and a recommendation for a different attorney for 600 dollars. I asked if she could brief the lawyer (she referred me to) on the case so she would at least do something for the money and she said she would. In speaking with the attorney she recommended numerous times , he stated he had heard nothing from her at all. I would recommend any other attorney than Ruffi law for everything including tenants evictions based on the experience I was subjected. All other attorneys I have spoken with including the one she recommended encouraged me to file an ethics complaint with the state. She should be ashamed and disbarred.
