The WhispererA very nice pub directly across the road from the train station. A sizeable place - both indoors and out with decent wheelchair access and reasonable amounts of space to move around in. The barmaid was friendly and even chatted with a couple of the locals while I was there - all very friendly. The Guinness was lovely.
Jason PuzasI had 50 minutes until my next train so I decided to pop in for a pint and a packet of crisps! The crisps were out of date on the 14/10/2024 and when I brought it to the bartenders attention he looked at his stock and started throwing the out of date packets across the bar. I asked for a refund and he told me that he couldn’t offer a refund and couldn’t tell me whether or not the beer was in date. One of the customers won money on the fruit machine and offered to pay me which I thought was in appropriate and left my pint because I wasn’t sure on its safety! Terrible pub and terrible service! New management or not…… I do not expect to drink or eat out of date products
Aime WoodardThis is the best positioned pub in Bracknell, but the worst opporated. We waited 2 weeks for the refurb to be completed, and can't believe it's actually now worse!!! Why on earth would you think closing your kitchen and moving the food to a terribly run "Spud wagon" at the bottom of the car park would be a improvement???? I'm utterly baffled. We arrived to watch the football and grab some food and we actually googled places to eat and watch football while we were at the market inn, because we were so shocked at how awful the new set up is. We've now found a better option in Wokingham, further to travel, but quite honestly worth the Uber. Come on Market Inn, you can do so much better 👎
