The atmosphere was very peaceful and warming. The steak was cooked to perfection with amazing flavor. The creamed spinach and potatoes au grautin were delicious. But the service was some of the best I have had the pleasure of experiencing. They were friendly, made great recommendations and made this occasion one for the books. I will definitely be returning next time I am in town.

I finally had the opportunity to dine in at Ruth Chris for my birthday today. Upon my arrival I was met by the hostess staff and we were taken to our seats Once I sat down they had pre-arranged birthday confetti spread out on the table. I was truly impressed. by the display. The whole Ruth Chris experience from the staff to the ambience of the restaurant and the food was such a pleasurable birthday dining experience The gentleman that oversees the establishment comes around to each table to check in on the customers to ensure they are being taken care of properly. . At the end of our meal, the lady that took care of us there bought out a complementary candle lit cheese cake on a decorative plate that said “Happy Birthday on it to complete our dinner meal. Ruth Chris offers a fine dinning experience from the time you walk through the door to when it’s time to part for the night. Thank you Ruth Chris and your lovely, lovely staff.

My first time here and enjoyed my experience! First, the atmosphere was very Richmond, with classic traditional decor and a cozy fireplace. I felt like I went back in time, in a classy way. The staff was very friendly and accommodating from the hostess to the bartenders and wait staff. We sat at the bar. Ordered drinks pomegranate martini, barbecue shrimp and chopped salad. The cocktail was perfect and the food was superb. Highly recommend and would most definitely return.

Very nice location & the Service was great. I also enjoyed Most of the food. My only issue … was my entree , the steak. Was a horrible cut of meat. An Extremely fatty piece. Was only able to eat 1/2 of it. When a restaurant charges $82 for a steak , you don’t want to eat only half of it. Was extremely disappointed with it.. and Considering , this is a steakhouse .. huge let down. I’ve been to 7-8 Ruth Chris locations and this was abnormal. I let my server know .. and was told , that hopefully on my next visit , I will get a better piece. All the other dishes were perfect. A $ 200 dinner shouldn’t be like this *
