Robert HlavacI am not one to submit reviews, but feel an obligation to do so this time. Iāve been with Safari many years on their Premium plan. Earlier this year we had a small area of chinch bug damage in the rear yard, which they willingly replaced with sod. A period of low rainfall followed and the same type of damage began appearing in the original area and others around it. The damage spread rapidly to cover a majority of the rear yard. During that time we had similar activity spreading in the front yard. Safari warned me of draught conditions and I made sure to water at least twice per week in the rear using hose sprinklers, the same approach Iāve used there for 28 years with no major issues.The front yard is on a sprinkler system operating twice weekly, and I hand watered the diseased areas occasionally as I was able. End result? Safari has an excuse for everything, denies chinch bug damage, blames it all on me and rejects my offer to share the cost of replacement. A major point of their argument is that I had no sprinkler system in the back, an obvious head scratcher since similar damage occurred in the front where a sprinkler system does exist. Iāve now had four different lawn professionals out who have stated, without prompting or knowing who my prior company was, that what I have is definitely chinch bug damage. Be warned.
