Sage Dental of South Tampa

Everyone is very nice and helpful! Very fast and efficient. For both my initial check up and cleaning I was in and out in under an hour (cleaning only took me 30 min!). Definitely refreshing after dealing with crazy wait times at other dental offices. The Doctors and hygienists are very thorough and make you feel comfortable.

This is my first time ever posting a negative review but I am doing so in hopes that someone else won’t have to experience what I have gone through with this office. I had my wisdom teeth removed here, all four at once, on a Friday afternoon. Before going in for the operation, they had me fill out a paper with specific information on me including my pharmacy name and the address of my pharmacy. Well, I was loopily wheeled out post op and went home and straight to sleep when I woke up in the worst pain of my life. My medication? Nowhere to be found. My pharmacy never received anything from them. Sage dental was closed for the weekend at that point and I was SOL. I cried my eyes out in pain. I couldn’t believe they didn’t send ANYTHING for me. Turns out, they did. They sent my medication to a random pharmacy next to their office which I never received due to not being able to guess that they would do that after having my written pharmacy on a document. Horrible. Then, an extra bill came. I paid the bill on DECEMBER 5th but continued to receive the same bill repeatedly. I spoke with their office but Claudia Peron was apparently waiting for a manager to help. She never responded after telling me that on the phone and via email. Now it’s a month later since she ghosted me and I received another bill from Sage Dental on FEBRUARY 28th stating it was now a delinquent charge. The best part, I sent Claudia the transaction for the exact amount showing paid on 12/5 from my health savings account and somehow I am the unresponsive one. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a business. Getting your wisdom teeth removed can be a very traumatic experience if you’re in the wrong hands. Please don’t fall into the trap I’ve fallen into. This is a disorganized mess and they JUST DONT CARE. What a shame.

Had a great experience! Facilities are brand new and very clean. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I saw Dr. Franklin and had Jeiffer who took great care of me and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Would gladly recommend this dentist to anyone looking.
