What a fun tour with Rob C! This was my friends’ and my first time at the Met and we felt overwhelmed by the scale, so we booked this tour. What a fun afternoon! It was the perfect way to discover the museum, navigate through the many eras and learn so many fun back stories about the art and the museum. I particularly enjoyed seeing my first Vermeer in real life, and the incredible Impressionist collection that the museum assembled.

Our MET tour guide, Jeff, led an amazing tour through selected highlights of the museum. He added context to art (from Velasquez, Renoir, Van Gogh, Picasso, Monet, etc) from additional works and insights, including from his travels to other museums, often in Europe. I was super impressed by his extensive knowledge and interest on various paintings and sculpture, and he was able to answer nearly every question we asked. If you're going through the MET, you want Jeff as your guide. We focused mostly on Egyptian, American, and European art.
