This weekend I had the most wonderful and relaxing treatments. Definitely 5 stars to the Aestheticians! However the inside of the building needs some work to bring it back to five stars. The large leather sofa has the arm all torn up, the stitching has let go and it's gapping open. The other thing I noticed was tiles missing in the pedi/mani area. Neither of these are a deal breaker for visiting again, but it somewhat lessens the beauty of the atmosphere! I do look forward to my next spa treatment!

I had a wonderful afternoon with Chandaui. I received a body scrub then the Sahara Retreat Package of a massage and facial. She was very knowledgeable, confident and made me feel very comfortable. My skin is absolutely glowing!!

Sahara spa is located in a beautiful historic building. The inside is very elegant and tastefully decorated. If you're staying at Temple Gardens, you can enjoy the mineral pool before taking a relaxing walk through the nearby Crescent Park. It pretty much takes you straight to Sahara, and it is well worth the short trip. I stayed on the walking path and enjoyed all the beautiful old trees. I chose to get a facial and wasn't sure what to expect. I have been to many other spas, and sometimes it's hit or miss. This one was well worth the price! The room itself was calm and peaceful, with a bit of natural sunlight that shone in through the windows. Because of this, no bright artificial lights were on, which I appreciated. The music playing was relaxing and calm background noise, which enhanced the experience, rather than distracting from it. Shaylin did a terrific job. She provided a great massage of my neck, shoulders, arms and scalp as the face masks penetrated my skin. She knew what she was doing and it felt nice and soothing. Her touch is soft and gentle, rather than rushed. I left feeling very relieved and relaxed. My skin looked great, but the experience is what really stood out. If you're in Moose Jaw and are looking for an upscale spa, this is definitely the one to choose.

The lovely historical building had me enter with high hopes. The reception person barking," take your shoes off" started the beginning of a rough experience. Next I was instructed to either put on the pedicure sandals or bare foot. Next she barked," water or tea?". I inquired what type of tea was offered, told only one:Jamaican. No change room,no relaxation room ,no robes , no sandals. The treatment room had various tchoxkes but no place for my jewerly,no hook or hanger for my purse or clothes and no sink or bathroom. Massage was okay. Therapist did not remove excess oil from me or offer a towel. I did ask. Was provided dry hand towel. The massage table did not look clean, wrinkles on the sheets, etc. Once service ended, the Therapist left me. No water was provided and she did not walk me down to payment. This business seems to advertise itself as a spa but seems to be a glorified Lulu Lemon warehouse store. Obviously management had never been to an actual spa. Absolutely not a typical spa experience. I would never consider this as a spa.

Sahara Spa is a spa.
