Kurt is amazing at what he does! The salon is very clean and charming. Kurt is down to earth and funny, making the haircut fly by. I could tell he really cares about his clients, asking lots of questions and making sure all of my expectations were met. Now for the haircut…I included a before and after picture. When I first came to him I had long, frizzy hair with long dead ends. He trimmed it identically to the picture I showed him while also making adjustments to accommodate my very thick hair. I left with a super cute haircut and shiny hair! Will continue to go to this salon forever! HIGHLY recommend!

I LOVE Salon in the City! I've found my new forever stylist! Kurt is very kind, very funny, and very personable. I felt at home sitting in his chair, and I'm just a kid in college. Everyone is welcomed by Kurt! The shop itself was beautiful and I was amazed at Kurt telling me he made all his decor himself. You'll love the ambiance and atmosphere. It's such a cute place. As for the haircut, I had a grown-out pixie cut, with a long choppy mullet in the back. I'm trying to grow my hair out again but want to enjoy it in the meantime, and really wanted to clean it up. Kurt took one look at my hair and said he'd fix exactly what parts I'd been hating the most: long, choppy back and the too-thick bangs. He truly is talented. If you're not sure what you want to do with your hair, trust him! You're the boss in his chair, but he knows what the heck he's doing! I don't often leave reviews but I loved my experience yesterday so much I just had to. The last picture is how my hair was before...and that was pinned back! I'll definitely be seeing Kurt again and I 100% recommend him to anyone!
