Mr. FordFriendly staff from the initial phone call I made to check for a specific barber item, to remembering who I was upon arrival. I've been to several beauty supply stores and usually they don't specialize in barber supplies, but there an entire section here for us and I'll be a regular customer.
Shaun CI was looking for a set of clippers for my husband which were in front of the store in a glass case that was locked and could only be accessed from behind the counter by someone with a key. My daughter & I were asked if we needed any help & I politely responded not at this time. They didn’t have a large variety of clippers so after browsing 2-3 minutes I was ready to leave. Get to the front dooor & the Asian lady literally ran behind the counter and to the side by the exit and stared at me & my 12 year old daughters hands to see if we were stealing!! Mind you, the Asian guy was behind the counter where we were the entire time we were there. There were 3 black women in the store who dropped their things and immediately left when they saw how we were treated. Let’s stop supporting this racist place!
Stephanie WI bought 15oz container of Ampro ProStyle Super hold Hair Gel here a while ago and I'm just now getting to post about this. I paid 4.59 for trash literally. This store mixed some type of clear hair gel with the real (dark) hair gel (over half the container) and put it back on the shelves to sell. As I used it these chunks of clear hard gel, the consistency, and the color made it clear what they did. I never went back, and I wanted to provide a word of warning to other women of color that shop there. They don't care as long as they make their money back somehow. 💯
