Erin HamerI had such a great experience at Vain! The salon was very clean and open concept. I just got a trim this visit, and my stylist did exactly what I asked—she took off just what was needed and no more. She also styled my hair just how I like it (curled with a straightener) and was mindful of my request to go light on hair products. I really appreciate the attention to detail and will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

Donna worked with me every visit, making sure my hair not only turns out exactly how I want but also stays healthy. They use Lanza color and have personalized the plan, making sure the whole process has been gentle on my hair. I’ve definitely seen great results, with my hair being able to stay long and healthy the whole time. The pricing at Vain is incredibly fair for the high level of service and expertise they offer their clients. I never felt like I was overpaying for the results i got. The salon’s transparent pricing made it easy to know exactly what I was paying for, and I really appreciated that. It’s hard to find a place that delivers quality work without breaking the bank, but this salon has really struck the perfect balance. Brenna EllenI decided to go to this salon seeing the great reviews, but I was very disappointed in my results. I do not complain often but because of what I was left with and the comments and I have gotten from other hair stylists, I feel that I should share my experience with Vain Hair Studio. I was previosly blonde and wanted to go darker. I booked a color apt at Vain and left with so much disappointment. The pictures below are my before, inspo pic and the after pictures. The back of my head is a different color than the front, I have crazy dark money peices that are not fading, and a variety of colors ranging from grey, nearly black, browns, blonde, and highlights. I trusted her through the process and thought she knew what she was doing, but I was wrong. I was there for over 4 hours and left after the shop was closed. I phoned the manager the next day and I had to go in and was given a full refund, but to be honest, I was charged $231 for this.PS they charge 40$ for a blow dry and I left with my hair still wet around my scalp. Worst experience I have ever had, sharing it so I hope you dont have to go through what I am still going through and trying to fix. ** Adding this after reading their response to my orginal review. They did not offer a color to fix my hair. Manager offered a 10 min toner to see if it would tone down the highlights OR get my money back. I also feel that blaming it on a miscommunication is a ridiculous excuse, especially when I supply pictures of exactly what i wanted. I did not end up with a "free color" as i now have to spend more money to remove the black tone out of my hair. I understand my review is my opinion, but If you as a company felt that the color was fine, then Im happy to share images of my hair after leaving your salon and see if others would think the color is fine. This review is my opinon and my experience, but you can look at my photos and decide yourself if this is hair that you would choose to get. And yes thank you, I need all the hope and luck I can get to fix this
