This was my first visit and I was immediately impressed. The front desk staff was helpful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. David was my stylist. I had SO many compliments on my cut and color after my appointment. He was also knowledgeable and helpful (not pushy) with styling and product suggestions. I will be a regular at Salon Medusa. Be prepared with cash for tipping.

The stylist did an amazing job on my 9 year olds hair. The only downside is they don't have tipping with a card.

I've been there twice and loved my experience both times! My manicure lasted two weeks which was amazing and my haircut and color were great, stylist was friendly, my hair seems to be in better condition from the aveda dye, the head massage was amazing which is always a nice bonus. Can't remember who did my nails but Rachel did my hair. I'll definitely go back.

Went last week to get a balayage. The stylist was very kind, but my hair did not turn out to be the color I showed her by picture in our consultation. I thought I might be able to make it work, so I went home and when I started to look at it closer in the mirror, I noticed all kinds of things were just not right. The transitions were hard/blunt lines, the colors weren't blended at all. There are chunks of hair that are half super dark and the other half super brassy. I emailed the owner. Sent him pictures of my results, and he didn't even bother to respond. I reached out to another Aveda Salon owner who is a parent of one of my students at the school I work, and she was "horrified" at the pictures I sent her. She asks every day if I have heard back from the owner, and her mind is blown that they are not trying to make it right when I spent over $220 (+ tip) for services. My previous salon closed, and I was excited to try a new salon right in my neighborhood that I could start coming to consistently. Unfortunately, I'm still looking.
