Paul and Carl exceeded my expectations! I heard back from Paul within a day of submitting a quote request on the website’s Contact Us form. Paul provided a detailed quote that was easy to read. They got to work within a week or so (they were wrapping up another project). Paul quoted me at 5-6 days to complete and it took 6 days - no delays at all! Carl did fine craftsmanship. They were both super flexible with adding small asks to the quote as we went along (installing an additional light and outlet). Paul always responded within a day but, more often, within hours whenever I sent an email. When the project was done, they cleaned up the site spic and span and even offered to haul away anything we had on the property that needed to go to the dump. The project was enclosing and insulating our carport to serve as a bike garage. Without hesitation, I can say that this was the best experience I have ever had with a local contracting company.

This was the first time I've hired a contractor to do construction work and I was somewhat nervous with how things would go. I did some research and went with Paul and his team based on the high ratings on Google. I was not disappointed and they definitely lived up to their five star ratings. Firstly, Paul came out to my place for free to do some measurements and give me a quote. The quote was incredibly detailed and included all the material costs along with links to products at nearby stores that they would use for the project which really increased the transparency. Once the dates were set, Paul was super communicative and flexible throughout the whole process. I had to push one day back because I couldn't be home and they were able to accommodate that just fine. At the end of it all, billing was super easy too and was able to pay straight from my bank. All the logistics aside, the work itself was awesome too. Carl and Paul both did fantastic work and I am very pleased with the results! It wasn't the most exciting project as it was ripping out some built in drywall shelves, patching the holes in the drywall, and installing a new outlet so I don't have before/after pictures sadly, but just know I am really pleased with how the basement looks now! I can highly recommend Salt Lake City Contractors/ Rudd Builders for your future projects!

Rudd was super quick and easy to work with. He is helping us convert our detached garage into an art studio. It’s a cinder block building and needs to become fully weather sealed. He came and gave us a free estimate and created a really detailed itemized proposal with material and labor costs broken down. There were lots of options and he has been very flexible with us for timing of breaking the project into parts. When we started he fit us in the schedule and he and his guys knocked out the first phase in two days! They left the place really clean so we could get to work. We’ll definitely be using him for the rest of the project. So glad we found him.

Paul and his guys were amazing. Showed up on time for every appt and every day of work. Got the job done in the time and budget quoted and it was obvious they took their time on the important things to make sure it looked great. I would definitely use them again and would recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor
