Customer experiences
No stars. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Went in for tooth pain. Intern took an hour taking x-rays. Had no idea what she was doing. Dentist was like I’ll prescribe you a mouth wash. And then tells me I have some “minor cavities.” This was just from looking at an x-ray. I’ve never had cavities in my life. She numbs my mouth and meanwhile they make me sign a waiver saying “dentistry is not an exact science.” I should have run out then. They make me sign up for a payment plan for what I owe after insurance. The dentist comes back and starts drilling. I can feel all of it and try to tell her and she’s like we’re almost done. Total hack job lady. Then it took almost two more hours for the dental assistants to do the fillings. I’m trying to get all my x-rays from this place and they will only send me one. I’m close to taking legal action with them. Also the mouth wash did nothing. Went to a legit dentist who told me I had an infection and prescribed antibiotics and pain meds. I ended up having to have a root canal. This place is full of quacks. Go anywhere else!! Also they keep sending me a bill even though I paid everything.
Dr. Hanna is patient and kind. She knew exactly what was needed. A different clinic wanted to remove my teeth, she gave me a better option that allowed me to keep them and i have my great smile back. The ladies in reception as well as in the back are top tier. My appointments have gone smoothly every time. I recommend!
The dentist were fine, but the billing is horrible to the point of unethical. Be forewarned when using this dental group that you could receive bills over two-three years later from date of service and they will not be able to even tell what they are for. I received care at the E. 10th street location from 2022 to 2023. At each visit, I provided my health insurance information and then asked if I owed any money for my visit. Sometimes I paid, other times I was told it was covered by my insurance. At the end of 2023, I informed them that I was switching health insurers and moving to a new city. I asked them if I had any remaining balances or if they needed my updated contact info to get in touch with me and they told me I was all squared away and wished me happy travels. Over 2 years later, I received a letter saying I owed them nearly $1,000. I called Urgent Dental Linwood concerned that this was a scam and was told that I owe them the money. I asked them if they could tell me what these medical fees are associated with and if there was any way I could talk to someone about these possibly being in error? They told me that someone would follow up with me the next day. No one called me, I then called the next week and asked again if someone could explain what these fees were for and if I could chat with someone about them being an error as I was told I did not owe any money. They told me again someone would follow up the next day. This did not occur, I called two more times, with them never following up. I then got a letter saying they were going to take me to collections, still having never talking to someone about what these fees were for.
Everyone was very nice and explained what needed to get done. I was in and out in a very short time. They gave me a choice of getting a root canal and crown or get the tooth extracted. I just wanted it removed, since it gave me problems for the last few years anyway.
Same Day Dental is a dental clinic.
