I was sold bad products. I wasted my time and a lot of money buying dried bush mango seeds, dried fish, catfish fillets, meat and the likes. The mango seeds tasted stale and to be precise like soap, it didn’t draw one time. A really terrible experience and I am not pleased in any way.

I am expecting a scathing rejoinder from the handler of Samis page as reading other people’s reviews, it seems to be their norm. I just wish I had read reviews before making my order. A business is in business because there are customers to patronise said business. As such, customers should (online and offline) be treated with the utmost respect even if their review is not what you expected. I made an order early on Friday morning for goods I wanted to eat same day. Before making my order and After reading their delivery policy which explicitly mentions Mon- Thursday and Saturday but was very silent on Fridays, I called the store to confirm and I was advised to go ahead with my order. Person on the phone said he will ensure my order goes out on Friday but advised me to pay for Saturday delivery which I did. He even asked me to send my order number after ordering which I also did. After making payment, from Friday morning until now - Sunday morning it’s been silent. N calls are not going through, messages are left unanswered etc. I’ve seen the handler of Samis page rudely responding to complaints here and saying delivery companies are to blame. We all make orders here in the UK from other businesses including African businesses and we see how these businesses run and how customers are treated. There is no excuse to badmouth an already disgruntled customer. I am still waiting on my delivery with no word from the company. I’ve patronised some other African stores like Princelyn and the service is to die for. Even if goods are terrible, once customer service is great it makes things bearable. Admin should really reconsider the kind of scathing remarks he makes on these reviews. I may forget a customer’s bad review but the admin’s retort leaves a bad taste long after. Love and light to this business. I hope to still get my delivery or a full refund. EDIT: My delivery has been initiated and I got a profuse apology and explanation from staff at the business. Hopefully, I love my items Will edit as I go. Thank you for your response admin, it’s noted.

I am dissapointed. I bought the big jar chin chin and the inner seal was already opened. I remember t didn’t see the golden seal over the chin chin as usual but I was in a hurry, as I had to work Friday night. I opened it on Saturday afternoon and saw that it was opened. How did it get past quality assurance. This is a serious hazard and it means I can’t trust the store with my items anymore.
