Customer experiences
Ordered some take-out here a few months ago while staying in Kitchener for a tournament and this restaurant was next to our hotel. The choices of flavours of samosas are great, something for everyone, and they are huge. We tried the Mac n Cheese samosas and I wish someone in our hometown made them! We also got their signature fries, and although the portion was a bit smaller than we expected, the fries were very flavourful and not the typical boring fast food restaurant type. Overall the food here is very reasonably priced. Definitely will stop here again next time we are in Kitchener. Don't be fooled by the location of this place, and being next to a crappy pizza place. Skip the pizza and go for some samosas!
Absolutely loved the samosa chaat at Samosa Bar! The flavors were spot on perfectly spiced samosa topped with tangy chutneys, fresh veggies, and creamy yogurt. It had the right balance of crunch and softness, with just the right kick of spice. Portion size was generous, and the presentation was great too. If you’re craving authentic and satisfying Indian street food, this place is a must-try. Highly recommend!
I’m a big fan of samosas in general, so I love trying any variation of them. I recently visited this place and ordered the vada pav and the samosa club sandwich. I have to say, I absolutely loved it—the flavors and spices hit you right away! I also really enjoyed the ambiance, and I would definitely love to visit again the next time I’m in town.
Samosa Bar was awesome! We got to try four samosas: the Jalapeño Cheese Samosa, Tandoori Samosa, Schezwan Samosa, and the Chef Samosa. Out of the four, the one that really stood out to me was the Schezwan Samosa, which had noodles as the filling with that nice spicy kick to it. The other one was the Jalapeño Cheese Samosa which tasted so good to the point that even after I ate it, the aroma was still in my mouth, leaving behind the tasteful jalapeño flavour with cheese. The Tandoori Samosa had a vegetarian take on it, and what stood out the most was the fresh seasonings. The last one, the Chef Samosa, is great; even though it has the usual potatoes and peas as the filling, it still brought back the freshness that we endured til this day. Finally, the person who served us, Heta, was a wonderful human being who not only gave us good insights about the menu but was very conversational, which we liked. Her skills really matched up to the expectations that we as customers look for. I would definitely recommend Samosa Bar to all the foodies out there, and especially the Jalapeño Cheese Samosa—it’s a 10/10!
