Extremely incompetent in representing me when I lodged a grievance against nepotism and unfair labor practices at school. I requested the escalation of my grievance to the ELRC. I am still waiting. I had to consult a private labor lawyer to assist me after the principal wrote on my leave form that I absconded. The SAOU representative simply told me that the labour relations officer decided that my leave was unpaid. This union does not deserve a single star.

When my contract was ended, I contacted them. They said because the school did "this" and "this", we can take them to the CCMA. Just to be called 2 weeks later and told they cannot help me. Useless Union.
