Our favorite grocery store in Whitehorse. Their produces are fresh, their meat products are good qualities and their flowers are within reasonable prices. The best part is that they rarely get a lot of shoppers, unlike Superstore, you rarely get a long lineup at Save-on.

Canoe the Yukon. Did our big grocery shop in here. We got most of the items we needed. Two weeks canoe trip from Whitehorse to Dawson and food for three people was about $450. Recommend shopping in Dollarama and Independent too. Also great stores for all your canoe trip needs.

Some of the most lackadaisical staff I’ve dealt with. Went there today and had a sale item not show up with the proper price at the self checkout. The lady immediately argued with me and told me that I had it wrong; and so I said please remove it and do it right. So, she removed it, took the item, and walked away. Obviously more interested in not talking to me than dealing with the issue. It’s a stupid little thing but it sure makes me not want to go back. Also they have stickers on some of the items that say $4 off. Today is October 15 and the strip loins have a best before date of October 15. Rather than giving a true discount for such a valuable item, they would rather offer $4 off. Not such a great plan.
