I've been wanting to visit Laurel and come to the Scotsman General Store ever since Hometown aired. I love the show. I love what Ben and Erin have done for the town and the other towns that they have gone to as well. I really enjoyed the General Store. I purchased some wood items as well as some clothing items. I had a wonderful couple of days walking around your beautiful town.
Love the show Hometown. Love the varying styles of architecture in Laurel. Walkable area. Great food. This was a nice shop, nice to see the place that is televised in real life. Only issue preventing five stars was pricing on items. Tourist prices multiplied by tariffs is my guess. They were a bit high.
Loved this place. Great General Store and the best service. Even when I needed help after our trip. They were above and beyond helpful. Their soda cave was exceptionally good. Wish Erin and Ben were there. But I know they have more things in life to do than wait for me to show up!
