We still highly recommend the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish, even though the views were mostly hidden by clouds during our visit. The lack of a grand panorama was a slight bummer, but the trip was absolutely worthwhile. ​Riding up through the misty forest canopy was incredibly atmospheric and peaceful. Up top, even without the vast, far-reaching vistas, the summit provided a beautiful, unique perspective on the coastal rainforest. And trust us, the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge is a thrilling experience that delivers a rush regardless of what the weather is doing! Go for it.

All in all this is a great experience. We had a nice clear day, which would be a must if you want to get the beautiful views. And the views were amazing, for us. The Ride up was quick and smooth. You can fit up to 8 people in the gondola at a time. There are nice gift shops at the top and bottom of the hill. The parking is not free. We did the after 4 pm and were able to save 40%, which was a bonus. However, there are a ton of hiking trails at the top, so you could spend hours at this location. All in all we found it worth the trip up.

Breathtaking! This was such an amazing experience. The views are spectacular! There is a few different choices for hiking, different distances and levels of difficulty but all are fairly easy to navigate offering amazing vistas and closeness with nature. We were there early and it was not very busy which made it all that more enjoyable. This is a must stop while traveling the Sea to Sky highway!

We started downtown Vancouver and took the Sea to Sky Gondola shuttle package, which made the whole trip effortless—no driving, no stress. The gondola ride itself is stunning, offering panoramic views of Howe Sound that make you stop and stare. At the summit, we explored two scenic trails, walked the thrilling Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge, and had lunch at the Summit Lodge with an unforgettable view 🍴💛. The trails are well-marked and organized, and there are picnic tables, washrooms, and a cozy lounge at the summit for breaks. Highly recommend the shuttle package—it makes the day seamless for families or anyone wanting a perfect, worry-free mountain escape. Truly one of the best day trips from Vancouver!
