This is a lovely bookstore with friendly, helpful employees. They are very involved with the community and they host wonderful author events throughout the summer.
My favorite bookstore in the bay! Everyone is kind, eager to help, and the selection is great. I especially love the employee recommendation tables. Even bought some home decor here.

Very nice shop. A little bit cluttered and cramped, but what bookstore worth it's salt is spacious? The staff was lovely and helpful. The shop was filled with natural sunlight and the sounds of the cafe next door. Plenty of book-lovers browsing the shelves and chatting. I ultimately picked up one book from the "New Fiction" table that I had heard about online, and a compilation of the year's best sci-fi that caught my eye. I will be visiting again.
