My family is very pleased with Senior Helpers. We were in a panic when my Mom was being discharged from the hospital in the midst of the Corona virus. We did not want to send Mom to a rehab facility that was locked down from having visitors for 2 weeks. We decided to have in-home care instead. We made a phone call to Barbara and she met us at my parents' house. She assessed Mom's care needs and recommended an approach to provide the right amount of care for her. Care started within a day after that meeting. The caregivers were wonderful! They were experienced, and great in caring for my Mom and even assisting my Dad as needed. I would recommend Senior Helpers Richmond to anyone looking for in-home care for themselves or their loved ones. It was a great experience for us!

Senior Helpers provided support for in-home senior care with both my mom and dad in their final days. They were the gift that allowed our family to keep my parents in their home as they requested. The SH organization was flexible, understanding, and reliable. The caregivers were amazing and SH did their best to provide the most appropriate caregivers for my parents needs and personalities.The care givers were so warm and caring to my parents. Senior Helpers is outstanding and in fact worthy of 10 stars. They not only had a positive impact on my mother-in-law’s life, they were lifesavers for us. We work full time so the weeks were very long and lonely for my mother-in-law. I found Senior Helpers after checking out many places and when I met Barbara I knew this was a great decision. Carrie was her companion caregiver and a perfect match. She is sweet, honest, dependable and patient. My mother in law looked forward to Carrie coming to her home each week. Carrie had a profound effect on my mother in laws happiness and week being. Needless to say, she also had a positive effect on our lives in that we knew my mother-in-law was in great hands.
