Very relaxing Water Journey. Beautiful and peaceful backyard for resting, relaxing, meditating and reading. Each session is 2 hours. Loved the pitchers of lemon water and cucumber water. We also got cool eucalyptus face towels when we entered the spa and cool lavender face towels while we were using the spa and sitting outside in the backyard.

Don’t be put off by the limited availability—it’s a testament to the incredible facility and outstanding service at Bodhi Spa. The place is extremely clean, and the staff is simply wonderful. I was impressed right from the start: the robe and slippers provided are great, and the lockers are the easiest to use—easily outperforming those at larger spas like Bota Bota in Montreal and Balian Springs in Alexandria. The only downside during my visit was that I wasn’t scheduled for the water circuit. After changing in my cozy robe, I had to wait in the lobby for the esthetician—a slight hiccup that took away from an otherwise fantastic experience that began in the locker area. Luckily the reception area was very busy and had no available seating. The staff kindly escorted me into the water circuit to wait until they were ready. That gesture was amazing, and I believe this waiting area should be the standard for all customers. One more note: I didn’t receive a survey after my service, which would have been a great opportunity to give kudos to the staff for their exceptional work. Overall, Bodhi Spa is a gem in Newport and I can’t wait to go back!

Your facility is, without question, the finest I have ever experienced outside of Japan. The care, atmosphere, and attention to detail you have cultivated in your onsens, hot tubs, and spa treatments are unparalleled in the United States. What you have created here is more than a spa—it is a sanctuary. During my visit, I found complete refreshment, detoxification, and rest in an environment of silence and solitude. It is rare to encounter a space that so perfectly mirrors the spirit and tradition of Japanese spa culture, and you are doing it with excellence right here in Newport. Please continue the wonderful work you are doing. You are not only healing and restoring those who visit but also inspiring them. I am deeply grateful for what you provide to the community and look forward to returning. I will refer all I know to your facility and will be back many times!
