I really loved my stay at Andaz Singapore. At first, I was slightly underwhelmed, mainly because there isn’t a grand reception or an immediate sense of obvious luxury. But over the course of my stay, I came to appreciate that the luxury here reveals itself more gradually. It comes through care, comfort, and attention to detail, with moments of real spectacle in places like the beautiful pool area and the exceptional breakfast, even if it’s not immediately on display when you arrive. The little touches made a big difference. I loved the thoughtful light controls in the room, the ability to open and close the curtains at the touch of a button, and the privacy screen on the large window. The views were very impressive, and the pool, with its stunning outlook, was a highlight. The breakfast was outstanding, and the restaurants within the hotel were equally impressive. We dined at several of them and were consistently happy. I also really appreciated the daytime snacks available in the lobby and the complimentary minibar, which added to the feeling of being genuinely looked after. While the room design itself wasn’t my favorite and felt like one of the weaker points for me personally, the overall experience more than made up for it. The comfort, the attention to detail, and the many thoughtful touches made my stay feel easy and well considered. I would happily stay at Andaz Singapore again.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Andaz Singapore on the day of Singapore Grand Prix 2025, redeeming a Category 1-7 Free Night Award. As a World of Hyatt Globalist, I was truly impressed by the thoughtful front desk team who arranged a corner room with a fantastic track view for us. Although we didn't get a suite upgrade this time, the room was incredibly spacious, and we got to watch a spectacular F1 race right from our window! I also really appreciate the hotel's commitment to sustainability. Instead of providing standard single-use plastic bottles, the room was equipped with an in-room filtered drinking water tap and two special reusable water pitchers. It's a brilliant eco-friendly touch. When it comes to dining, my girlfriend and I have always been huge fans of 665°F. Their steak quality is consistently top-notch. We had their special F1 race day set menu, and it was as stunning as always. We kept our room card as a wonderful souvenir, and we were also pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary Mid-Autumn mooncake gift box from the hotel. We absolutely loved the flavors! Although it’s a bit of a pity that we weren’t selected as winners in the recent "Be More Foodie. Be More Fulfilled." social media contest, it doesn't diminish our love for this property at all. We hope to have the opportunity to dine at their other excellent restaurants, like 5 ON 25, on our next visit. Looking forward to seeing Andaz Singapore continue to excel!

We booked a suite for our staycation. Location was central and accessible by 2 MRT lines. We arrived before check-in time and the front desk arranged a regular king-bed room for us to use as resting room until our suite was ready. Amenities were complete and the suite was clean and comfortable. Note: There was no bottled water and we requested for some to be brought to the room. It was after that then we realized there was a drinking water tap installed in the bathroom and we should have used the water bottle they provided in the room to guests.

Reception staff unpleasant. Checking in & out and dealing with daily inquiries with staff not a nice experience. No manners. Worse than a fast food chain. We thought this was a one off in Andaz Vienna, Austria but it appears all Andaz reception staff across the chain are like this in our experience. Room is either boiling hot or blasting freezing aircon, so not comfortable. Surprisingly no steam room or sauna for the cost of a stay at Andaz. Breakfast and dining in the hotel is expensive. Dinner was not good value for money and the e waiting staff were mainly like the reception staff- disinterested. The hotel is difficult to navigate and no attempt to explain all you need to know is given by the staff. Andaz lets Singapore down and isn’t worth the price. I do not recommend Andaz hotels.

Shangri-La Singapore is a hotel.
