I had a truly wonderful experience at SSMC for my son’s day surgery.From the very beginning, the care and compassion shown by every staff member made a big difference to our journey. Our doctor Sanooj Sayed was extremely kind and took the time to explain every detail clearly, which gave us great confidence and comfort. The entire day surgery team from the registration desk to the nurses, the cleaner, the OR team, and the PACU team — showed genuine empathy and dedication in every step of care. A special mention to my son’s nurse, Mintu Thomas , and the PACU nurse, Ms. Shiny Abraham, who cared for my son with exceptional kindness and attentiveness. Also the PACU coordinator, a male staff , who coordinated with us the post procedure ( the name I forgot). My son stayed in the PACU for more than two hours, and the team there was simply amazing. They took every possible measure to keep him comfortable, active, and alert, especially Ms. Shiny, whose compassionate approach and gentle interaction truly stood out. I may not remember every name, but every single staff member we met deserves appreciation. Thank you all for making a stressful time so much easier with your warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Thank you SSMC ENT OPD team, day surgery team, OR and PACU team for making a comfortable journey.
