I I recently visited CIT for a symposium. The event was primarily handled by students, which was impressive, though at times it seemed they were struggling without strong faculty coordination. The infrastructure of the campus was quite good — buildings were well maintained, and restrooms were neat and clean. Food options were available, but the prices felt a little on the higher side, and there were only one or two snack centers to choose from. Overall, the symposium showcased student initiative and effort, but smoother faculty guidance and more affordable, diverse food options could make the experience even better

CIT have been an organizing & host college for various Anna University Zonal level Athletics tournaments, cultural & technical events. It has got excellent lab facilities. It's easier for students to commute to CIT.

Coimbatore institute of Technology is a famous college in Coimbatore. All Engineering courses are offered here. Chemical Engineering course is also offered here. It is located about 14 km from city. Plenty of bus services are available. Famous industrialist Mr.P. R. Ramakrishnan and Mr Venkatasamy Naidu are the founders of this college. Hostel facility available. Good library is available. College is one of the best college in Coimbatore. It is about 60 years old. Good professors are available. Reputed organization. I am an Engineering Graduate from this collge.
