Went in to get a quote for tires and had a great experience. Avinash in the Automotive section was excellent — patient, knowledgeable, and very professional. He showed me samples of the tires, explained their features, warranty, and even covered aftermarket options and services. Really appreciated his time and detailed explanations. Excellent customer service! 5 star review only because of his excellent service.

Bought tires and wheels. Booked an appointment. 3 days prior I called and instructed them I only want the tires installed in the wheels. The wheels I’ll install on my car myself. Why? All Canadian Tires like to leave greasy fingerprints on my interior. So… I show up, tires are not installed on wheels. I get told to come back tomorrow as they have to honor appointments. lol. So I come back the next day. They want me to pay their install and balancing fee. lol. After a day of wasted time, having to cancel a plan I had made..AND all they did was balance the tires after putting them on so why should I pay more than 50%? Considering everything. So I get the balancing and install fee reduced to 50% under a threat of a 1500$ refund. Great. I get home to check out the wheels…. They scratched up the edges horribly with their balancer or whatever they used to get the tires on….. Last time I EVER deal with Canadian Tire. I tried to keep them far away from the vehicle side and limit their scope to JUST tires… they can’t do that right either… What a joke. By the way..the number you provided me presents no customer support options. Only product inquiries. Your customer service appears to be broken as well.

Donna the manager is always extremely friendly and helpful. She always has a smile on her face. Avinash in the service department was very friendly and helpful. They exceeded my expectations and I would like to thank them both so much for their help today. When you have a good manager and good staff it makes your shopping experience much more enjoyable

I had a terrible experience at Canadian Tire. The service was absolutely unacceptable. Most of the items were locked away in drawers with no staff available to assist. I waited around and asked an employee for help — he completely ignored me and walked away without saying a word. I felt disrespected and frustrated. To make things worse, I was unaware that I had to place my backpack on the desk at the entrance. Instead of politely informing me, an older female employee scolded me in a rude and unprofessional manner. This is no way to speak to a customer. I was shocked and deeply upset by the way I was treated. If you’re going to lock up products, at least have staff nearby who are willing to help — not ignore or mistreat paying customers. I left without making a purchase and I will not be going back there again. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.
