When you visit the store in person, the customer service is great. The showroom is beautiful, with lots of high-quality local pieces at reasonable prices, and I’ve always been happy with the furniture I’ve purchased. The shopping process and furniture are both 5-stars in my opinion. My 3-star rating is due to the customer service after purchasing and the consistently slower arrival times compared to the ETA provided at checkout. This year, I experienced the same issues twice: a lack of updates on my order, difficulty getting through or leaving a message on the phone system, and unanswered emails during my most recent experience. I posted a negative review while feeling frustrated that I couldn’t reach anyone for several days after my ETA had passed. Shortly afterward, several employees reached out to apologize, provide updates, and let me know the phone system had been fixed. They also offered a $50 refund as a goodwill gesture. My furniture arrived the following week, and I’ve arranged for third-party delivery. I was happy with how they ultimately resolved the issue. I genuinely appreciate the in-store experience and the quality of the furniture. I hope the improvements to their phone system are long-lasting and that they consider contacting customers with updates once an ETA has passed, even if the order is still in progress. I will likely shop here again because of the quality and price of the furniture and hope that next time I can confidently leave a 5-star review.
Jill is a knowledgeable sales person! Great care and attention given. She was great to help narrow down my choices and fabric colour. I will be working again with Jill again on selecting more pieces for my room. I need side tables and lamps next! I’m so glad I got to meet and spend time with her.
Absolutely love meeting and visiting with all the staff! Their selections and product knowledge is top notch and top shelf through and through. Been looking for a new sectional for nearly 15 years and I just bought a brand new couch today with Lise, she is beyond fantastic and very helpful. Can't wait to come back and fill my home with more of their Canadian craftsman furnishings! Very happy customer! 10 stars out of 5
