Side By Side Dog Training

Laurie is a great and knowledgeable trainer. My dog Bowie and I met her by doing the free puppy training class she offered and now we're continuing his training and it's one of the best things you can do for your dog! I like her approach to training.

I have been to a lot of dog trainers around Salt Lake for various reasons and Laurie is by far the most knowledgeable and great at giving useful and constructive feedback. I appreciate all the hard work she puts into learning and understanding dog behaviors. I feel lucky to have found a trainer that uses research and science to back her methodology that makes sense to me. In other words, I don’t have a feeling when I go to her sessions “oh that seems weird or should I really be doing this to my dog.. I guess I should because a trainer says so”. I feel comfortable bringing my dog there and trusting that I won’t do anything wrong “because the trainer says so” which I have done with other trainers. That said, I would refer my friends only to Laurie and won’t experiment with other trainers when I get my new puppy 😊 (Picture just for fun since we've done Rally at Side by Side)

Laurie is a great dog trainer. Her *free* puppy classes have been so helpful to us. She is knowledgeable, supportive, and a talented teacher. We just registered for a paid series of classes because we've gotten so much out of the free puppy classes.
