Laurie is a great and knowledgeable trainer. My dog Bowie and I met her by doing the free puppy training class she offered and now we're continuing his training and it's one of the best things you can do for your dog! I like her approach to training.

I have been to a lot of dog trainers around Salt Lake for various reasons and Laurie is by far the most knowledgeable and great at giving useful and constructive feedback. I appreciate all the hard work she puts into learning and understanding dog behaviors. I feel lucky to have found a trainer that uses research and science to back her methodology that makes sense to me. In other words, I don’t have a feeling when I go to her sessions “oh that seems weird or should I really be doing this to my dog.. I guess I should because a trainer says so”. I feel comfortable bringing my dog there and trusting that I won’t do anything wrong “because the trainer says so” which I have done with other trainers. That said, I would refer my friends only to Laurie and won’t experiment with other trainers when I get my new puppy 😊 (Picture just for fun since we've done Rally at Side by Side)

Laurie is a great dog trainer. Her *free* puppy classes have been so helpful to us. She is knowledgeable, supportive, and a talented teacher. We just registered for a paid series of classes because we've gotten so much out of the free puppy classes.

We took our 4 month old golden retriever Ellie to Puppy Rising Stars during this COVID-19 crisis as we wanted to train her with Laurie and the team right when we first got her. When we saw classes started again we were so excited and not disappointed. The classes were awesome, informative, small size, and very hands on. Our girl, is doing awesome and we are already signed up for teenage classes for our baby. We love these guys! Big shout out to Laurie and Stacy for being awesome 👍🏽
