For 16 months I resided in a condo that was managed by Padgett Properties and from the beginning there was a lack of transparency and honesty regarding the unit. On the day I picked up my keys I experienced gaslighting, saying, “you may have seen reviews regarding pest online but that isn’t applicable to this unit.” Only to find out that roaches were indeed a problem in that unit and it was not properly treated during our stay. Two treatments occurred in our first month then nothing, even after requesting additional treatment. As time went on it became clear that our needs were not a priority unless they were convenient. Timelines is not Crystal’s strong suit. You may go weeks without getting a response to a text, call, and/or email. The A/C never properly cooled the living room which was outside of their control but during our last two months of our lease (June and July) when it stopped working for a third time they never sent maintenance to evaluate the system. Even now after moving out of the property I can’t receive a clear answer on when my deposit will be issued. Initially, it was two weeks and now I am not receiving a response from the property manager. I hope that the customer begins to become a priority moving forward. It is simply unprofessional to not communicate and lack care surrounding a person’s living environment that they are paying for.
Padgett Properties is absolutely amazing! Very professional and friendly.. most importantly very efficient! I have two children under four and we are about to get a huge ice storm, the heat went out this morning and within 10 minutes of contacting them they had someone already calling me to set up a time within a few hours to come by! It’s all fixed and we have heat & ready for the ice storm! Thank you so much to everyone who works there!
