Tried it for the first time and the food was great! We had the dinner option of Full chicken and 2 medium sides. We added to that The grilled veggies in small portion (it comes cold so you need to heat it up) We also tried the Portuguese style empanadas one filled with Shrimp and the other with minced beef. Everything was great ! We also got 2 custard pies which I forgot to take pics before eating! They were of the best that I tried recently ! Added to that, the staff (maybe the owner) who served us was super friendly

I heard about this place through a close friend, she spoke so highly of it that I had to make the travel from Toronto to Milton to see for myself. I’m glad I made the trip because I was very impressed with everything this place had to offer. Melo’s BBQ is truly the place to be for great food, even greater service, and a very traditional Portuguese atmosphere that made me feel like I was in a Portugal style environment. I ordered the traditional chicken, rice, and potatoes, and I was pleasantly impressed. Even my parents (who had the pleasure of enjoying the food from the platters that were catered for us) enjoyed it immensely, and they set a high standard for European food. I will return again in the near future in the hopes of trying out the rest of their menu and re-ordering some classic favorites. Bottom line, I highly recommend this place, no matter if you are near or far, it is totally worth it. Well done Melo’s BBQ, keep up the amazing work and keep the traditions alive!

Absolutely amazing service! I walked into Melo’s BBQ not realizing they had just closed, but John and Chloe kindly stayed open just to help me out. They gave me two tubs of their incredible Piri-Piri sauce (which they recommended with Caesar salad - game changer), and I was in and out in minutes. I've had their food before when I first moved to Milton a month ago, and it was fantastic. Can't wait to go back for more! Huge thanks to John and Chloe for going above and beyond — truly appreciated!
