Final Edit: I was able to finally get through to and meet up with the manager and they were very kind and lovely. I have updated my review accordingly! Hopefully it is not so difficult in the future! I was given a method for doing so, which does inspire confidence. :) Thank ya'll for keeping people fed. Edit to respond to reply: I have already used the link that they replied with. I used it a month before makign this review to try and get my issues resolved. Corporate insists that the issue is the management at this store not responding to them. I have an ongoing ticket with support for this. They don't read your reviews, they copy-pasta the reply below and pretend they did something. =-=- Original Review -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Back in September, I ordered two egg mcmuffin meals to go and I didn't get my hashbrowns. I have been trying with McDonald's to a get a refund or something for a month now. Corporate keeps emailing this location to ask them to issue it, and they keep ignoring it. I am mute and find walking difficult. They are really failing their customers here. The expectation seems to be that I can just hop up and walk inside and complain, which is difficult for me to do. Really wish Mr. Ronald McDonald would stop clowning around.
I tried to use my McDonalds app rewards for a free McGriddle for 3000 points at the in person cashier, I told her my 4 digit code multiple times and she said it isn’t working multiple times, than I tried scanning the QR code on their scanning device and once again it didn't work, she called her manager and then I gave the code to the manager, when she put it in she said that I already used that reward when I know I haven’t, and when I looked at my points on my phone, the 3450 points that I initially had dropped all the way down to 450 points as if I already used the reward, but guess what, no freaking McGriddle in my hand and she said I don’t know what happened. I left and thanked them for their service.
Generally, a decent experience here, but last visit, I attempted to use a mobile reward and for some reason my order kept getting cancelled. When I finally got it to go through on the app and get a drive-thru pick up code, the lady at the ordering station repeated the wrong code back to me and said the order doesn’t exist. When I said the code again slowly and offered names to back up the letters (e.g. N as in Nancy), she just said, “Yeah, I couldn’t find your order.” Though it sounded like she didn’t even try to put in the correct code for a second attempt, and then she just ushered us along. If you mess up on the initial code input, and I offer clarity on the code, I’d expect you to at least try one more time with the correct code as I clarified it out.
Ashley was so sweet and helpful today! If management is reading this, please give this girl a raise!!! Top notch customer service and so friendly!!! So rare to walk into a McDonalds and get such good service these days! Ashley is such a gem!!!! Thank you!!!
