We put our 2 Akitas(very stubborn and high energy) through sit means sit 20 day board and train program. They are 2.5 years old so they have already become really set in their ways, had some strong bad habits and reactivity issues with other dogs. They came back way more obedient and have a strong understanding of the commands they use which has allowed us to implement them at home. You definitely have to be committed to keep up their training at home and maintaining solid boundaries and rules in order to make the training worth it but sit means sit gives you a solid foundation to build off of. They took great care of them while in the program and sent updates every 2-3 days and a video at the end of the week showcasing what they learned. They gave them lots of love and attention and treated them as their own, so much so that our dogs LOVE when we go back to see them to do more training sessions and just adore the trainers. I appreciate the continued training you get after: 1on1 sessions and group training to help us work out an issues we’re having at home. Overall great experience! Also a big thanks to Sage, she has done majority of their training and been amazing to work with!
We turned to Sit Means Sit for help with our pittie, Jade, who struggled with reactivity on walks. We can’t say enough about this place, Stevie has just excelled here. We tried to do some training ourselves and decided to try Sit Means Sit and have been so happy with her success. We chose the 20 day program doing it in two parts with some day training in between. Sage has been the easiest and sweetest trainer and Stevie just adores her. I highly recommend this place, just go in for a free consultation and you will be hooked.
