Highly recommend SJ Electrical! Shaun is straightforward, detail-oriented, professional, and personable. He returned my initial call quickly, and immediately scheduled an inspection and quote. I was looking to purchase and install a kiln, and Shaun carefully reviewed all relevant materials to provide an accurate recommendation on which kiln to purchase and the most efficient and effective approach for the electrical setup. I had a few other electricians inspect and quote on the project as well, but their recommendations were confusing and seemed to inflate the scope of work unnecessarily. One even suggested a kiln that we later learned would not have worked with our electrical service at all! Really appreciate Shaun being detail-oriented, observant, and precise. Shaun’s knowledge and experience really stood out. He was responsive, easy to communicate with, and made the entire process very smooth. On the day of the job, Shaun and Kevin worked efficiently and thoroughly, explaining the plan before they began and clearly outlining what was done afterward. Shaun did a great job navigating through the process of our electrical upgrade from BC Hydro, L2 Charger and Hot Tub install. He was very patient with us rookies when it came to planning our our project, especially since it was just a concept when we first started working with him. His pricing was fair and he always arrived when he said he would and has walked us through all of the permitting & rebate processes along with sharing best practices with us along the way.
