Review for Yareli Guzman – Ulta Beauty, Gardens on Havana A few months ago, I visited a leading salon in Denver and booked an experienced stylist for a color service after even having a consultation session. While she seemed to understand what I wanted and got the color tone right, the overall result was disappointing — there was barely any color visible on the crown or the money pieces. Even after a “correction” appointment, it looked almost identical to what I had two years ago. No real change at all. Fast-forward to now — I randomly booked with Yareli Guzman just to cover my greys before a trip 2 weeks ago, and I’m so glad I did! During our chat, I mentioned my previous experience, and she instantly understood where things had gone wrong. Yareli may be quiet, but her work speaks volumes. She even showed me her portfolio on Instagram (@hair.yare), and I was honestly blown away. She took the time to ask what I wanted, explained what she would do, and delivered beautifully. She’s kind, patient, detail-oriented, and incredibly talented. I absolutely loved the outcome — she gave me exactly what I had been hoping for all along! This is a negative review for Yareli G. a stylist at the salon. I was 6 minutes late to my appointment due to an accident and after standing at the check in counter for 2 minutes she canceled my appointment. Meanwhile I can see her in the back just standing around when she could have checked me in. She gave me attitude and got a manager who said Yareli couldn’t help me anymore and that she was going on a lunch break. So Yareli didn’t want to work and take my appointment at all. Yareli wanted her lunch break and canceled me. Meanwhile clients have to wait 10-15 minutes for stylists to finish if they’re running behind, but being 6 minutes late they can’t help you? Yareli went to work today but didn’t feel like actually doing her job and the manager enabled her poor work ethic. I’ve been to 4 other ultas in the area and never had this issue. I will never come back here. Absolutely zero work ethic and terrible customer service. There are many other stylists at other ultas that actually want to work and get paid. Don’t bother with this one. She’s not even a master stylist.

I received a great haircut 2 weeks ago. I went today for a style since im unable to recreate what the original style. I wanted to set up a weekly stlying and was told it would be $45, regardless of hair length. My hair is above my shoulders. Clearly Ulta doesn't care about repeat clients or referrals.
