I reached out to Skyguard (Steve Laird) when another company refused to return my call. Steve responded right away. My roof was inspected and Steve explained the entire process of filing my insurance claim and how we would work with my insurance company. He worked directly with my adjustors to insure all of the damage was identified and showed that repair was not an option vs replacement. Once the insurance company agreed to replace, getting the work scheduled and completed was quick and easy. The roof was completed with superior materials vs my old roof. Details such as ice dams, additional drip edge and ridge vents that spanned the entire ridge were installed which were upgrades vs my old roof. The crew was professional, did quality work and did an excellent job cleaning up after the job was completed. I would recommend this company and Steve Laird in particular to any of my family or friends. Great job!!

If I could give a zero star I would. Steve came out and gave us an estimate to fix storm damage. He has been less than helpful in dealing with the insurance. He also says he will do things and hasn't. He says he calls and sends emails to us and the insurance company and hasn't. We have given him everything he has asked for and still nothing has been done. We finally gave up and called another company who has gone out of their way for us. Would NOT recommend this company!!!

The balcony on my condo was constructed very poorly - any time it would rain water would pool and collect until it was removed. I contacted several contractors, no one could help. I finally came across SkyGuard - they sent Joe Mueller and Diego Rodriguez to inspect my unit and discuss various solutions. They agreed a small drain followed by resealing would be a good start. A few weeks after the balcony was resealed, a few areas started peeling. I contacted Joe, and it was resolved a few days later. Thanks, Joe and Diego, for your viable solutions and excellent craftsmanship. I’d recommend SkyGuard for any general contracting needs!

Excellent customer service and repair work!! Highly recommend!! My home had storm damage and I called SkyGuard for an estimate. I needed all new siding, some roof repairs, new shutters and lights installed and I wanted to build a small front porch on the front as well. They showed up quickly and assured me that they could handle it all. I hired them immediately and I’m so happy I did!! Mitch and his wonderful contractors made a stressful situation disappear seemingly with ease. My home is brand new again and I’m one very happy customer.
