The size difference was not a minor issueāit made the sofa completely one seat smaller from one side. When I contacted the store, instead of taking responsibility or trying to help, they repeatedly gave me the same scripted response: āTake measurements and send us pictures.ā I followed their instructions every single time. I sent the measurements and photos 3ā4 times, exactly how they asked. Despite doing everything on my end, I never received a real answer or any kind of solution. Their customer service is extremely disappointingāslow, unresponsive, and unprofessional. It genuinely feels like they were trying to avoid dealing with the issue rather than fixing it. Once they take your money, it seems like they stop caring entirely. I expected honesty, accountability, and at least a basic level of customer support. Instead, all I got was wasted time, repeated excuses, and complete silence after providing all the information they requested. I would strongly advise others to think twice before buying anything from Universal Furniture Store. If something goes wrong, donāt expect helpāthey simply donāt stand behind their products.ā
