Despite the unexpected appointment, he took his time with me like he always has and had me ready to go within an hour. Had an emergency filing, showed up at 7:30 am , Rose the sweetheart got me in at 8am with my Doc Pat and beautiful Brianna 😍 They took excellent care of me and I can't say enough nice things about this place... Dr. Patrick McDonough and the wonderful team at Cataraqui Dental Centre have been by my side for a number of years now. Every member of this practice, treats me with respect, compassion and care. Their knowledge and experience are also by my side. Even when I'm not experiencing dental issues, I feel comfortable and confident, just knowing that if I were to place a call to them, that they would treat me very quickly. The receptionist is always wearing her brightest smile. The waiting room is comfortable and classy. The wait time is minimal. Upon entering the room in which procedures are done, I feel empowered and involved in every single decision that Dr. Patrick McDonough and his associates make. I feel like I matter, and that my opinions and questions are not only heard, but answered and valued. I used to think twice about calling the dentist when I had a concern or issue; yet those thoughts are simply in my past. This place has changed my view and my feelings about my dental care. I adore this place and every heart that beats within it. The parking is ample. The entire building is clean. Very clean, yet, not clinical feeling. It feels happy, safe, inviting and warm. I owe a lot to this practice. They have saved me, numerous times, not only from pain and suffering, but also my own past negative thoughts about dentists. The day in which I met the team here, is one of the fondest memories I will ever have. It was the day in which I realized that care and compassion still do exist. It exists here. It always will. Thank you Cataraqui Dental Centre for saving my teeth, my outlook and my day. You are valued by myself, my family and the community that surrounds this building of hope, help and heart. I’ve had nothing but lovely experiences with Dr McDonough. Unfortunately the reception staff is extremely rude. I called a couple months ago because I’m experiencing a tooth instability from a previous injury. I wanted to have him assess it and see what next steps are. They pressured me to make a hygienist appointment, and when I called back to cancel the cleaning (because I would prefer to have this issue resolved before a cleaning is done) and just see the dentist instead, the person I spoke with was very rude and derogatory, leading me to cancel my appointment entirely.
