This was my first time at Owl Salon & it was the best salon experience I’ve ever had. I came all the way from Ajax and loved it so much I already booked my next appointment! Maya is so knowledgeable and passionate about curls - I’m never going to anyone else! Before Maya’s help my curls were dead at the ends, dry, and brittle which made my hair super frizzy. After seeing Maya they are hydrated, defined, and bouncy. She talked to me about proper wash day routines, the right products to use, and how often I should be cutting it for the results I’m looking for. The time and attention to detail is unmatched! I was planning to get braids while I was on vacation, but I loved my hair so much after my curly cut that I decided I didn’t want the braids. Maya is the only stylist I trust with my curls. Highly recommend, it’s well worth the trip out!

Curly Hair: Jessica is AMAZING!!!! After my reg hairdresser retired from a salon I’ve been going to for 20 yrs, I’ve had stupid, uneven, weird shaped cuts for a long time from this curly hair specialty salon. I tried someone new last February and was butchered beyond repair. I did go back to my reg salon to get it trimmed after a few months, but again, ended up with uneven weird shaped hair. I seen a lady coming out of Owl Salon one day and she had beautiful curly hair. I decided to go in and see who the artist is.. It was Jessica! She sat me down in the chair and looked at my hair. She said it needed to grow for a couple of months and then she could shape it properly. She did even it out that day and what a difference that made! Yesterday (2 months later) I went in for my cut. WOW!!!!!!! My hair looks AMAZING!!! She is a true artist! Your hair is your face and she knows how to shape your hair to your face!! She is a beautiful person inside and out and is truly an expert at her craft! Thank you sooooooo much Jessica!!!!!!!🙏😊❤️ Just wanted to add another comment. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my hair now. I’ve hated my hair for so long but Jessica has given the BEST HAIRCUT I’VE EVER HAD!!!!! It used to take an hour to style my hair, now 15 min!!! WOW!!!!!! ❤️

i came in for a pretty long session as we rebleached some of my hair and added more darks to give a chunky highlight! given the situation of my home dyed hair the price was reasonable and results were amazing!!! i love the pink, definitely great for vivids. my hairstylist was very sweet and meticulous. I'm so happy with how it came out! ♡

A friend recommended a “wavy-curly” focused salon, and I’m so glad I found this gem: Owl Salon 🦉✨ I had my appointment with Rachel, who was amazing - kind, professional, really listened, and offered great advice. I also really appreciated her touch - I’m usually very sensitive to how people approach and handle my head, but her energy was calm, respectful, and grounding. I felt completely at ease. For the first time, my natural curls were embraced - no straightening, no ironing. I absolutely loved the result! Soft, loose curls that felt like me 💛 Jess, one of the owners, was also there and kindly shared a few helpful tips. The whole experience felt so warm and welcoming. The salon itself is bright, airy, and relaxing and the head sinks are super comfortable, gentle on the neck. They also serve amazing coffee-based drinks☕ Highly recommend Owl Salon for anyone ready to embrace their natural waves and curls!
